Recently I have been painting again. I started painting in high school and got engrossed in it and wanted to major in painting, sound, and installation during high school... it doesnt come out the same as it used to. Now I feel like ive become a thinker rather than a painter so the material sometimes doesnt facilitate the meaning and it bothers me. I feel weird using paint. But i want to do it Im not sure why Im so hesitant and tight about it. I now want to start making textile paintings, similar to Yoko Ono's idea of what a "painting" means.heres some stuff i love recently
